Our purpose

Committed to Responsible Gaming

Established in 2026 as an economic development initiative of the Niisitapi First Nation, the Niisitapi Gaming Commission is grounded in our Nation's core values.

Under our commissioners' vigilance and guardianship, we oversee online gaming to uphold fair and transparent practices, promote responsible gaming, and protect players.

Through well-defined regulation and effective oversight, we foster a safe and accountable gaming environment for operators, service providers and the wider public, with particular attention to protecting minors and vulnerable persons.

A Seal of Authority

Every website operated by a Licensee must prominently display the Commission’s dynamic licensing seal. The seal enables players to verify the identity of the licensed operator, its current licensing status and whether the website is authorised to operate under that licence.

The Commission monitors licensed operators and their websites to assess compliance with the conditions of their licences, the Online Gaming Regulations and applicable Commission Policies. This oversight supports fair and transparent gaming, the protection of players and the integrity of the regulatory framework. Where non-compliance is identified, the Commission may require corrective action or take appropriate enforcement measures.

Service Provider Invitations

Invitation for International Corporate Service Providers

B2C and B2B operators may apply for an online gaming licence through a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) approved by the Niisitapi Gaming Commission (NGC).

Corporate Service Providers must demonstrate relevant experience in the gaming sector and be duly authorised or recognised to provide corporate services in an established jurisdiction.

CSPs wishing to facilitate licence applications with the NGC must first submit an application to the Commission and obtain formal approval.

Only NGC-approved Corporate Service Providers may submit and manage online gaming licence applications on behalf of prospective operators.

Invitation to Alternate Dispute Resolution Service Providers

Player protection is central to the NGC’s regulatory framework. Licensed B2C operators must provide access to independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for complaints unresolved through their internal procedures.

The Commission’s player support system centralises ADR cases, helping monitor responses and track complaints through to completion.

ADR providers seeking NGC recognition must demonstrate relevant experience, independence, impartiality and the technical capability to integrate with this system.

Recognised providers must handle complaints fairly, safeguard confidential information and communicate clearly with players and operators, supporting accessible, consistent and effective dispute resolution.
